Kings Lynn Marina and the Nar link

The river Nar link and King’s Lynn Marina is one of the most exciting and ‘tangible’ local projects to be announced for a while and seeks to provide sea and non sea-going boaters with a safe and enjoyable
The proposed marina site and GOBA presenting £1000
route through the relief channel lock at Denver (a previous GOBA campaign achievement) into the river Nar and directly into the historic town of King’s Lynn.

Initial plans suggest that there will be public 48hr moorings as well as a 200 berth marina. Coastal adventurers will be able to use a new sea lock taking them directly out to sea, hopefully without having hit a single sand bank.

GOBA have donated £1000 to the King’s Lynn Marina & Waterways Trust driving the project and we would encourage individuals to also join the trust and support this excellent opportunity for extending cruising for us all. Visit www.klmarina.co.uk or call Steve Belton or Peter Bridgeham at the King’s Lynn Marina & Waterways Trust on 01553 770880 for more information.
